Halton police are investigating after multiple suspects attempted to break into an Oakville home on Tuesday, June 8.
At 1:30 a.m., the resident of a home on Robert Brown Boulevard awoke to the sound of someone trying to force open their front door, police said.
The homeowner looked out a window and reportedly saw five to six suspects.
Police said all these people fled the area on foot when the resident turned on an outdoor light.
Nothing was stolen and no suspect descriptions are available.
Police are also looking for the person(s) responsible for breaking into the garage of a Lindsay Drive home.
At some point during the overnight hours between Sunday, June 6, and Monday, June 7, someone approached the residence and succeeded in getting into the garage, police said.
The suspect(s) reportedly stole a baby stroller, a cordless toolkit and two bicycles.
Police said there was no damage to the garage door and the homeowner is unsure whether it was locked.
